Shalom Brothers and Sisters I just have a quick word. For some reason people feel like money is everything. It is important that you have an understanding that money is not everything and money can cause a lot of problems and you can even lose your soul over it. There are so many rich people in the world and they fall into temptation all the time and some even sell their soul to become rich and famous. Many rich people have gone astray from the Most High’s commandments and they follow Satan. People need to understand that you can’t take your riches with you when you leave this earth. So it’s best to be rich in the Most High and inherit the Kingdom. Many people follow the ways of the world and chase after money when they should be following the light of Christ. Many people have become greedy and those who have money don’t want to help others that are in need. It’s truly sad how this world have fallen into darkness.
1 Timothy 6:9-11 KJV states, “But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”
I hope people wake up in these last days and follow after Christ, who is the light of the world. What’s it going to be money, riches and fame or salvation, love, righteousness, and inheriting the Kingdom?
Mark 8:34-38 states, “Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
Luke 16:19-31 states, “There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
If you are in the world it’s time to come out of the world. It’s not going to be easy but you have to make a decision on where you want to spend eternity. If you choose the world then expect to go where the rich man went. It’s time to do things differently. If you have money don’t worship money, don’t be greedy but give to the poor. Help people and change the world by being positive by keeping the commandments through Christ. The Most High sends blessings to his children and he wants his children to be responsible, helpful and giving. Do good things unto others and bring light to the world. If the Most High blesses you then become a blessing to someone else.
